This is a Wells Coyote Hillclimb car, built by Mr John Wells of Colorado. It is a purpose built hillclimb car powered by a modified Honda B18 engine- Carillo Rods, Arias Pistons, Custom cams, and a TWM individual throttle body setup.Originally equipped with a "tuner" ECU that ran only ran the car for about 20 minutes, it now uses an AEM Race ECU installed and tuned by Horsepower Research and Development's own Don Walker.  In the three years this car has competed with the AEM EMS it is among the most reliable on the hill, always starts and idles on demand, and delivers smooth, trouble-free power under all conditions. This has allowed the driver Steve "Bent-It" Bennet to improve greatly each season and he earned a fourth in class at the 2007 Pikes Peak Hillclimb.

New for this year is a fresh paintjob done in-house by the HRD staff painter Chance Jesperson, a different gearbox more suited to the four-cylinder engine, and of course all new graphics!
